When did you join? I joined Stoke Poges Players in 2008 as a backstage person.  I was coming up to retirement in a few years,  wanted a new hobby and thought backstage work would be good as I had never been on a stage in my life. I certainly did not anticipate what happened. I was asked to join with the teenagers who were members as that time. I became a Forest Demon for Goody Two Shoes.

I was on holiday for the May 2009 play, but auditioned and was asked to take the part of Queen Semolina in Sleeping Beauty for the pantomime that year;  which was my best moment, playing the Queen, as she was a dumb lady. I got some laughs, so I was hooked. Since then I've been in:

2010 You Too Can Have a Body
2011 Inspector Drake's Last Case & The Grand Old Duke of York
2012 Prepare To Meet Thy Tomb & King Arthur
2013 Out of Sight Out of Murder
2014 Cinderella
2015 A Tomb with a View & Jack & the Beanstalk

2016 Robin Hood

Most terrifying moment? Just before going on stage and my mind went blank! Then all of a sudden, back comes all the words.  You know them really, it is just doubting oneself for those few seconds.

Anything else? I also have been heavily involved in making and finding props for all the shows.  My best ones being the dragon for King Arthur and Gorgonzola the cow for Jack and the Beanstalk.
