Jack the miller's son has a fairly quiet life until he inherits the family cat but things quickly change with the arrival of his Aunt Dame Hettie and the revelation that Puss can talk!

Soon enough they embark on an adventure of a life time, with Jacks great ambition to woo the Princess, Auntie Hettie's new business adventure of Etiquette classes and Puss looking fetching in his new boots, surely they are on the road to success?

 However they must all think quickly when the King and Queen present a noble suitor for their daughter, who has a wicked plan to take the throne for himself with the help of his two henchman and a hideous Ogre!
