According to a statement of accounts from 1988 it seems the players began to hold 'Music Hall' evenings. The first in 1988 on 19 and 20 February, complete with a candle-lit dinner, morris dancers, a hired pianist and raffle. Tickets were sold at £5 each and the proceeds were divided between Thames Valley Hospice and Stoke Poges community association. It seems it was a success as the players held an annual 'Music Hall' evening for the next 3 years. The charity chosen for the 1990 music hall was in aid 'Cystic Fibrosis' and a special shorten version was performed for the 'Arthritis Club'. The players were happy to be able to donate the sum of £800 that year. For our 50th Production 'Continental Quilt', the players made and raffled off their very own continental quilt in our Saturday night performance.
