When did you join? 1998. I was with something in Gerrards Cross before then.

 

Most terrifying moment with Stoke Poges Players? Every time I put down the script and walk onto the stage without it. It gets worse  as the years go by. My daughter-in-law says, “Every time you’re in something, you say you’re going to give it up.”

 

Best moment? Playing a wicked witch. There’s something so releasing about being the wicked one.

Who’s your hero from the world of entertainment? I love the cast of Dad’s Army, because they’re all such wonderful actors.

 

Anything else? (She laughs). It’s all very village hall, isn’t it? I don’t think we should give ourselves airs and graces. The audience might always be about to witness a disaster.
